The night watches are uneventful except for the last watch when Yahzi finds a man in nice leather armor with a massive peacock feather in his hat, a rapier at his side, a beautiful engraved belt, leather pants, and leather shoes. Very debonair.

He introduces himself as Gascon, the Duke of Dessarin(AKA the Duke of Dogs) and warns Yahzi that there are unsavory people in Sumber Hills and that they should stay away from the lads that have different covered armor.

Turns out, Yahzi failed her post as the watchman. The party has been robbed!!! 100 gold has been taken and in it's place is a peacock feather with a paw print at the top. Apparently, there were 30-40 people around.

This morning the mist clouds are no longer obsuring the top of the bridge. We can see across to the end. The mist is still over the city.

The party decides to cross the bridge. Right at the middle of the bridge there is a humanoid in black plate metal armor, black torn cloak with arms holding steady a sword (Clamor, great sword) pointing down and resting on the bridge. He is directly in the middle of the the bridge. In the middle of his chest, there is a symbol of a cut off dragon head. (Maybe a dragon slayer). He says that Emerant may pass, but all monters must die. One crature pays the toll with their life! He shares that he has dispatched orcs, bear people, and goblins. He also shares that he does not know of the Mirabar Delegation and that no one has come from behind him.

Turns out he's super racist. He didn't like XomBa or Yazhi. He thought we were monsters! Jerk. He slipped on the magic grease and then got booted by the horses.

Once we make it to the other side of the bridge we walk into the dusty, earthy mist around the town. Belliard is full of broken buildings, dead grass, gaunt men and women. All their food stores are gone. The villagers are begging for help with food and water. The buildings are burned and scorched, the suffocating dust sends tears down our faces. The ground has been upheaved here and there. It appears to be an earthquake spell, but more devastating. Most of the villagers have died in this event. There are only 4-5 dozen villagers left asking for help.

There is a woman in a straw hat tending to someone and a man trying to build something.

Val attempt to heal the man who has a magical face wound. He says his name is Xavier Lemmes. He said that the Mirabar Delegation passed through Belliard 12 days ago. He said he failed to protect the town, but that he can build almost anything. Xavier said that cloaked figures carried something into the center of town, right next to the well, revealed it to be a 5-foot in diameter crystal clear glass ball with black and brown energy swirling inside it. There were 4 people carrying it in black and brown robes. Then one took out something and then the orb exploded. Those men were disintegrated.

Dixon verified that at least one of the black, silver, & brown armored men that had on a stone masks did have the cloak that was made of the stone tile that we found back at West Bridge.

The woman in the straw hat is a sorcerer,  who arrived 3 days ago . She heard the Earth scream 10 days ago and came alone. She said her name is Isabell and she is originally from Athalanka a city in Amn.She suspected it was a group of bandits that came during the night with a terrible spell. The dust isn't harming anyone specifically. Isablee refuses to cast any spell against anyone to harm them. She was helping injured folks in the High Forest who were injured by the ice orcs. She showed us the general area of where the ice orcs are located. She said she did pass some farmlands and ranches on her way here.

Isabell tells us of the Order of the Gauntlet, who are located at Summit Hall, and could provide some help here.

When we investigate the well we find out that there is evil and elemental energy around it.

A tall, hooded figure walks up to the group with XomBa, she takes off her hood and it's a purple dragon with bold, shiny armor. She is a paladin. Her name is Peaches. She said, "This was my town." She said that she chased the Earth Cultist South West. Peaches is a part of the Order of the Gauntlet.
