We investigate a cavern with a large green dragon sleeping in front.  It turns out the dragon is an illusion, guarding the entrance to the home of Wilfric Hizelbottom the 5th, a gnome inventor with a variety of contraptions including a large blimp.  We discovery an anatomy chart with a necromantic background, along with books including a treatise on moving earth, and how to fly.  He's had it with the valley, the weather is out of control and he wants to leave.  The water cultists wanted him to make a bomb.  He used them as test pilots for his transport chute.  His assistant, Zooltan Chivay, went to Belliard to meet the Mirabar Delegation for parts, and has not returned.  Wilfric and his brother were kicked out of Waterdeep because they were trying to build human-like androids. Dalen, his brother, had a daughter who was killed by bandits.  He left a month ago extremely paranoid, thinking everyone was a bandit, and took their power source, The Heart of Mechanis, with him to an old tower in the Northern Stone Mountains.

Here the party also finds a tome of flesh golem creation, and pages of human skin.  As well as a book that screams and a book that farts.

Dixon learns more about The Duke of Dessarin from the barmaid, who has an employee named Katniss Everdeen who worked with the Duke.  The duke has a particular distaste for nobility, and is attracted to the exotic.
